The village unfurled around the church and was once surrounded by ramparts. Places to visit: the old "city gate" (listed as a Monument Historique), grain barrels, Tour de la Potence and more. Guided tour on Tuesday at 10am (July and August).

🚲 Dolce Via – Roadworks in Saint-Martin-de-Valamas
From 19 to 30 October 2026, the RD120 road will be closed during the day (7:30 am–6:00 pm) at the bridge over the Saliouse.
⚠️ The local diversion will use part of the Dolce Via. Cyclists, please take extra care and follow the signs near the roadworks and while travelling along the diversion route.
The road will reopen every evening from 6:00 pm and at weekends.
